Bio
Manol Paskalev was born in Burgas, Bulgaria. In 2007 he completed his studies at the music school in his hometown in the class of the renowned teacher Julia Nenova, with whom he studied piano and graduated with honors.
He continued his studies at the State Music Academy in Sofia "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov under the guidance of Prof. Marina Kapatsinskaya. As a pianist, he has won numerous prizes and awards from national and international piano competitions, including the M.A.G.I.C. competition for the performance of German classical music, where he received first prize and the special prize of the Bulgarian conductor Ivan Vulpe.
He has also participated in masterclasses conducted by leading contemporary concert pianists, including Paolo Police (Torrefranca Academy, Vibo Valentia, Italy), Prof. Dr. Pancho Vladigerov Jr. (Berlin, Germany), Vasily Elisavskiy and Galina Draganova - harpsichord and piano (Russia), Prof. Dr. Marina Kapatsinskaya (Gnessina Conservatory, Nizhny Novgorod, Russia), as well as the masterclass of Prof. Dr. Neva Krasteva (organ).
After completing his academic studies, he performed with the vocal ensemble Sacralissimo in Central and Western Europe. In the spring of 2013 he won a silver medal at the International Competition for the Interpretation of Russian Romance - Amaryllis Fleming Hall, Royal Conservatory of Music, London, UK.
He currently works as a teacher at a private music school and as a private piano and music theory teacher, composes orchestral music, and performs solo piano recitals throughout Bulgaria and Europe.

For better organization and efficiency in the work of PIANO DREAMS MANOL PASKALEV music school it is important that both parties - teacher and student - to follow certain rules. This helps to avoid misunderstandings and creates an environment in which the creative process takes place in harmony, with a positive atmosphere and satisfaction with the results achieved.
SCHEDULE & NOTICE PERIOD:

Classes are held according to a pre-arranged schedule, coordinated and approved by both parties - student and teacher.

In case of illness, emergency commitments or absence, the teacher must be notified at least 24 hours in advance in order to arrange another convenient time for the lesson.

If a lesson is missed without notice or with less than 24 hours notice, it will not be made up and will remain the responsibility of the student.

The presence of outsiders or parents during a lesson is discouraged unless specifically invited by the teacher.

Tuition at PIANO DREAMS MANOL PASKALEV music school is year-round. Longer absences (more than two weeks), especially for students with vocational goals, are not recommended. In such cases, online tuition is offered to keep up the rhythm of work and keep fit.
LEARNING METHODS:

The methodology and delivery of lessons is the responsibility of the tutor.

Repertoire is chosen in conjunction with the student, taking into account his/her preferences and musical taste, but the final decision is the teacher's, based on the level, goals and current state of the performer.

Production performances are held twice a year to monitor progress, assess motivation and determine future direction. During these events, the most appropriate approach for further work and performance opportunities is also discussed.
FEES & ATTENDANCE

Fees are due at the first lesson of the current month. In case of late payment the classes will be interrupted. If you need to postpone or reschedule your payment, please contact Manol Paskalev via pianoconcerts@manolpaskalev.com

In case of lateness on the part of the student, the lost time will not be compensated. In case of delay by the teacher, the lesson will be extended according to the required duration.
PRACTICE:

Students are encouraged to do daily exercises at home in accordance with the guidance of their piano teachers. For younger children, parental assistance and reminders are relied upon.

If there is an intention to participate in any additional piano-related activities (performances, competitions, auditions, etc.), the piano tutor should be informed so that preparation can be accommodated.

The presence of a piano tutor during a competition is charged separately from the individual lesson rate per day.
-
Questions from students or parents to teachers are addressed during the lesson or via email.
-
Attendance at the school is entirely voluntary and carries no contractual obligations, penalties or restrictions.
